My name is Constantinos Bacas, a third semester Masters student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. I am currently working to attain a Masters in Biomedical Sciences (MBS) degree and pursuing a career as a physician. I love learning about biology, especially the immune system and infectious disease. I created Disease Detective to help everyday people understand some of the pressing health issues facing us today and in the future. By finding information from reputable sources, reading the primary literature associated with the news stories, and looking into the details of a disease, I am able to present the facts without the fear.
